Coronavirus (COVID19) has put Africa’s largest country and economy in a very precarious situation. As the Nigerian government imposes a necessary lockdown to stem the spread of Covid-19 many people are struggling to get access to food, water, and electricity.

Nigeria’s other major economic responses to COVID-19 may not adequately protect the rights of the people most likely to lack adequate food, shelter, and other essentials.
